              The Bushwhack is part of the WMAC Grand Tree Trail Race Series

Location:  Park, start, and finish at Brophy Elementary School, 575 Pleasant Street (Route 30), Framingham MA 01701. Carpooling is encouraged.  

Directions: From Route 9 in Framingham, take Temple Street North (near Gulf Gas Station).  Go to the end of Temple Street and take a left onto Pleasant Street (Route 30).  Brophy School is about 1/2 mile down the road on the right after Hickey Drive.  See Map.

Course Description:   The natural trails (some hills, some rocks, & some roots) of Callahan State Park.  The first 0.3 and last 0.6 mile of each race is on the road with a finish back at Brophy Elementary.

Course Maps:  5.3 mile   10 mile

Safety Restrictions: Sorry but headphones, ear buds, strollers, and pets are not allowed on the race course.

Race Amenities: Indoor pre- and post-race festivities and use of facilities. Well-marked course with mile markers.  There is one water stop on the 5.3 mile course and two water stops on the 10 mile course. See maps for locations.

Commemorative Gifts: Busa Bushwhack commemorative gift for all finishers. Past items have included knit hats, running gloves, and glass mugs. The 2023 runners gift will be a campfire mug. 

Awards:   Log Trophy Awards for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall male and female finishers. Also, 1st place finisher log trophy awards for male and female age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
