On April 18th, 2005, I will be running in the 109th Boston Marathon. This race is one of the most famous and difficult marathons in the world. It is 26.2 miles from Hopkinton to Boston. I am running not only for the sense of accomplishment, but to help raise funds for Children's Hospital Boston. Children's Hospital has been named one of the best pediatric hospitals in the country (by US News & World Report) for 15 straight years. As a member of the Children's Hospital Kids at Heart marathon team, I have agreed to raise $500.00 to help fund the hospital and their commitment to helping children through research and patient care.
